Hichael Mareno

Hichael Mareno is a producer with a strong passion for electronic music and soundscapes and releases his Ambient/chill Out Tunes on Chill Om's ambient sub label.

He fell in love with ambient soundscapes and house music at the age of 11 and never looked back. His whole view upon life totally changed after he discovered this ''new music''.

At the age of 16 he started to try out various music programs, and gradually improved his knowledge and techniques. During these years he also discovered that he had a gift - an imagination like no other. At this point he knew that if he could learn these programs proper there would be no telling how far he would reach.

At first learning these programs were quite a task, since he had never encountered anything similar to it, but after a few years he had the basics and was ready to create music. People constantly told him that he needed to learn to play the piano before he could produce music, which he laughed at. It's all in your mind to use as he says himself.

There is no need for fancy piano lessons when you can improvise spectacular melodies just by using your ears as a guideline.

This is something that is really clear in Hichael's ambient tracks, you can tell that these pieces are made straight from his heart.

''If it makes you cry, then my job is done''.

Hichael produces roughly all genres, but tries to concentrate on ambient, dubstep and progressive house.
