About Chi :

Chi (also spelled Qi) translates roughly to "vital energy" in Chinese. It refers to the "life force" that flows through all plants, animals and human beings. "Chi" is that "bio-electricity" or "energy" in the body which makes us "alive."  It is also that life giving energy that permeates our universe.

The Chi project consists of seasoned celeberity artists, The Indian Electronica Guru TaTvA Kundalini and the super talented Sitar player, Azeem Ahmed Alvi coming together to create  magical, blissful and amazingly energetic music ranging from meditative, relaxation to mainstream uptempo for the global masses.

The Aim of both the acclaimed musicians is to provide a mind boggling, rejuvenating yet contagious experience to the audience by incorporating modern music making techniques and performance ethics.

TaTvA Kundalini :

Welcome to the world of the one man genius and musical heart, a performer extraordinaire. 

Tatva Kundalini is of Indian descent and works from his sunny studio based out of Delhi. His musical journey started from a very young age and Tatva realized that he was musically inclined all the way to make it his business and excel at it, so he went on to train himself in various instruments, classically inclined and that which helped him hone his skills to strumming the Guitar to taking on Keyboards at a tender age and even lending his vocals to the music he so intelligently puts forth. The here and now is the quintessential one man band that Tatva is recognized for in these contemporary times today. He enjoys fantastic accolades and has garnered many followers to the musical path he creates.

Tatva is headlining the musical peak of India’s entertainment industry as one of the most prolific and energetic artists for nearly a decade now He is sought after for his competent intelligent productions & Dj sets in the arena of big Chill, Trance, and Progressive with Tech edged goliaths.  It’s all a rebound; fiery like a ball of fire’, He has been putting in guest Dj sets around premier night clubs in India and abroad. Proficient at open air formats as well with headlining acts in festivals of dance throughout Europe, Russia, and Dubai, Bulgaria to our very own Asian format Sunburn, has been his calling in the category of Live act. 

Tatva’s basis of being alive and kicking has been to spearhead the radical. Having shared console space with some of the best artistes from around the globe such as ‘Vibrasphere’, Liquid Soul, Fady Ferraye, Osmani Sounds, Nasha, Midival Punditz, Kliment, Cheb I Sabbah, Dj San to name a few…Tatva remains Progressive and hybrid with a mixmagic of traditional ethnic-electronic instruments and the dance energy that is laden with layers of wide variety of musical genres.  

 

Azeem Ahmed Alvi : Sitar

Azeem Ahmed is the son of Ustad Sayed Ahmed Alvi, who happens to be an A grade Artist of All India Radio and a Sitar Player..At First, Azeem Took his training from his father but later he became the disciple of the famous Sitar Maestro Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan Saab.

Azeem Started Learning Sitar when he was just 6 years old and his first performance was at the tender age of 12. He has been an awardee of  the Rotary Club of India and has also received the National 

Scholarship by the Government of India. His International performances includce at the Harballabhh music Festival, Indian Heritage festival (Spain), Karia Festival (Japan), Namastey India Festival (Japan) and several other performances with acclaimed guitar players such as Harri Stojka, Louis Philip in countries like Italy, Germany, Vietnam, France, Austria, Australia, Sri Lanka,Uk, etc.

His Current Collaboration on th Chi Project definitely establishes Azeem as  a very promosisng and talented young sitar player of the present generation.
